The mosquitoes and biting insects are down beside the lake and even more come out at night. Bring inset repellent!

At the moment the sun is shining, which is great, but does mean you should be careful of children's skin and your own. Don't forget the sun cream! And remember to re-apply. Remember to pack waterproofs and wellies in case it does rain.

Being hot, you'll need to drink plenty. You will be allowed to bring 500ml unopened bottles of water into the arena. There are water points in the arena for you to fill up.

The site is a hidden gem in Suffolk, and through the woods you'll find even more surprises but it does mean you can clock up quite a few miles just going from watching a hot new band at the Sunrise Arena to an up-and-coming new voice at the Poetry Arena. As your parents will probably advise, wear sensible shoes.

There will be hearing protection for the little ones in the Children's Area. Do stop by with your kids to say hello, there's loads going on.
